How I spent my holidays

Wednesday !5 October 20!4

The holidays are when you take a break from the previous term, before you start the next term. It’s when you get to sit in front of the T.V and watch episodes of your favourite programmes that you’ve missed.

During the holidays I mostly sat in front of my T.V and watched movies, ate and played card games. It might sound boring but it was fun for me.Staying up late and sleeping during the day is something you don’t get to do during school, so I made the most of it.

I watched Limitless, J0hn Carter, Kung Fu Dunk, The Conjuring, Turbo, The 14 blades, The Forbidden Kindom, and other Samoan/Tongan movies. While I was watching I ate a giant bag of chips and drank a bottle of fizzie. I kept on falling asleep during most of the movies so I had to watch them over and over again, which made it a bit confusing for me.

On Saturday during the first week of the holidays, my family and I had a party and we invited most of our family. We woke up early in the morning and prepared all the food before our guests arrived. We made soup, pig, taro, coco and other island foods. Most of my family arrived too early. The elders in our family gambled a bit and the rest of us just watched T.V.

During the last week of the holidays my cousins and uncles visited, so we played card games like last card ( including torture), Samoan slap, lami ( which is a Samoan card game), Ka Isu ( which is a Samoan game) . While we were playing last card torture my nose and my hands started going red because I kept on losing.

In conclusion I really enjoyed my holidays and I am also glad that school has started again.
